KESWICK CLIMBING WALL WILL BE CLOSED IN THE EVENING ON                                                                       TUESDAY 21st / WEDNESDAY 22nd / THURSDAY 23rd APRIL.  

 THE WALL WILL BE OPEN AS USUAL DURING THE DAY FROM 9AM TO 5PM AND WILL RETURN TO NORMAL OPENING HOURS AS OF FRIDAY 24TH APRIL.  APOLOGIES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY CAUSE.  

Keswick Climbing Wall and Activity Centre is a one stop adventure shop with free onsite parking, amazing views across the fells and enough to do to keep the whole family busy all day, indoors and out.  NEW ACTIVITIES FOR JUNIOR ADVENTURERS !  For anyone too young to have a go at our outdoor activities (under 8), we have specially devised a few new activities for our  junior adventurers.   THE SHEEP HUNT is set in the woodland surrounding the Climbing Wall and is suitable for any age.  Can you find the sheep who have escaped from their field and solve the sheepy puzzles ?  ARCHERY, FAMILY ORIENTEERING and INDOOR CLIMBING are all available for anyone 4 years and over – just call for full details or to book.

COMPETITION NEWS:   The final competition of the series was held on  Tuesday 17th March.  It was a well – attended event and a furry representative from Keswick Lions turned up to try some of the routes and to present the Junior prizes, which Keswick Lions had kindly sponsored.

The League’s Adult category was won by Dan Hartley from Keswick with Ben Fidrmuc taking second.  The Youth Category was hotly contested and only 9 points split the top two spots.  Jacob Howe took the honours, Adam Price came a close second with Ben Holmes taking the third spot.  The Junior category was won by Adam Berry with the youngest competitor Nell Hartley coming second and Felix Green was third.

The individual evening’s competition was won by Dan Harley (Adult), Adam Price (Youth) and Sacha Buckworth (Juniors).  Prizes were sponsored by Wild Country, Terra Nova and Tog 24.
