Goosewell Farm is almost ready! - New Website Coming Soon!

Keswick Climbing Wall is in the final stages of relocating its operation to its new site at Goosewell Farm just near the Castlerigg Stone Circle. We are still awaiting final planning permission to open to the general public.

Our application to open the new wall at Goosewell Farm has been recommended for refusal by the LDNP planner.
It will go in front of the committee on July 1st.at the Park's HQ in Kendal.
Let's hope they take into account the huge amount of public support for the new Wall from climbers,youth groups,schools, tourism organisations and local businesses....A big thank you to all of them!
There is no alternative site so if it gets refused Keswick will not have a wall!
So there will be no climbing wall in the Lake District National Park which is being branded as the Adventure Capital of England...something not quite right there!!
