The benefits to teambuilding from outdoor activities are well established. Issues that affect teams in the workplace can be dealt with effectively in the Great Outdoors, and are inherent in many of the activities we offer.

At Keswick Climbing Wall we promise a fun-filled and challenging event which will subtly inspire improved teamwork within your group. Communication, trust, cooperation and empathy are all issues that can be addressed in an uncontrived and often imperceptible way. The main things your group will take away from the day will be happy memories and a sense of personal achievement, but the lessons they have learned will be in place for a long time to come.

We can run a straight multi-activity day, where the emphasis is on fun and packing as much as possible into the time available. Activities are chosen from climbing, abseiling, canoeing, raft building, ghyll scrambling, mountain biking, and assault course. Alternatively we can run a team challenge where groups compete against each other to complete as many tasks as possible in a set time. Elements of navigation, decision-making and time management are also unobtrusively present. The tasks themselves vary from cerebral or problem solving to physically challenging.

Because we are right in the heart of this beautiful area and all the activity sites are within 10 minutes of the Centre, transport and changeover times are minimal which leaves you as much time as possible to enjoy the activities. As a rule we also keep debrief time to a minimum, believing the lessons are an intrinsic part of the activities. This of course can be altered to suit your objectives.

The main difference between Keswick Climbing Wall and other corporate event operators is our no-frills approach. By cutting out lengthy classroom sessions and expensive theoretical training, we can offer excellent value packages where the maximum time possible is spent doing the activities. We can run whole days, half days, multi-days, as events in themselves or in combination with your conference or training. We can also recommend hotels and other venues in the area to suit all price ranges and requirements.
